Summary: The new teacher steps over the line.
Part 1
Buffy groaned as her alarm went off. Tossing her pillow at it, she was rewarded when silence fell.
Today was the day she had been dreading.
Today, was the first day of the new school year.
It wasn't that she hated teaching, she didn't, she loved it, but it was her first day at a new school, in an old town, and she had no clue what to expect.
Dragging her body out of bed, she headed into the bathroom and turned on the hot water in the shower before bruising her teeth. Sticking her hand in, she tested the water temperature, before easing herself in, groaning as the warm water woke her up.
After dressing and eating breakfast, Buffy grabbed her supplies and loaded up her car before grabbing a last cup of coffee before running out and jumping into her Black SUV.
Willow groaned as her alarm went off and sat up. Rubbing her eyes. she toppled out of bed when she got caught up in her covers.
Mumbling, she made her way to her bathroom and turned on the shower, leaving it for a minute to heat up before getting in and sighing as the warm water washed over her.
As she was drying herself off, her telephone rang and she laughed, knowing who it was on the other end of the line.
"Hey Cordy."
"Hey Will, you ready?"
Willow shook her head at her best friend. No doubt she had been up from the crack of dawn picking out the right outfit.
"Give me another half hour okay?"
"Okay, but remember, we like our clothes to match, just remember that okay?"
Willow laughed.
"Sure Cordy, see ya later."
"Later Willow."
Looking up at the building before her, Buffy wondered what her first day was going to be like.
"Can I help you?"
Turning at the voice, Buffy looked up at the tall Englishman that had spoken.
"Hi, I'm Buffy Summer's, new Art teacher."
He smiled and held his hand out, shaking hers when she took it.
"Rupert Giles, the Librarian."
Buffy smiled before looking him up and down.
"Forgive me for saying, but you don't look like a librarian."
He smiled at her and blushed.
"And you look quite young to be a teacher."
Buffy just smiled, she got that a lot. Truth was, she was only twenty four. She had graduated High School at the age of sixteen and then excelled in college, earning her degree quickly.
"Yes…well…we best get in and get settled. No doubt the Children shall be arriving soon."
Buffy smiled and followed him into the building, smiling as the words above the entrance caught her attention.
'Formatia trans sicere educatorum'
"Enter all ye who seek knowledge"
Giles turned.
"You know Latin?"
Buffy nodded her head and shifted her bag on her shoulder.
"Yeah, my French teacher taught me it on the side." Buffy wasn't about to tell him that the only reason she took the lessons, was because she lusted after her teacher.
They were interrupted when the first bell rang and Buffy looked up as a few students started mingling around.
Willow winced as Cordy bumped into the back of an SUV.
"Why do they have to park so close?"
Shaking her head at her best friend, Willow got out to see that the black SUV now had red paint scraped into its rear end.
"Cordy, you scratched this car."
The brunette shook her head and grabbed her book bag.
"Then whoever it is can send me a check, come on, I wanna see who this new teacher is, I hope he's not a hairy smelly guy like the last one.
Willow sighed and hurried to catch up with her friend. Some day's she wondered what possessed her to become friends with Cordelia Chase.
"Maybe it'll be a woman."
Cordy sighed and nodded her head.
"With my luck, it probably will be."
Buffy collected herself as her first class of the day arrived.
She smirked as a few of the guys checked her out. Too bad she didn't play for that team.
"Good morning class. My name is Miss Summers and I am the new Art teacher."
After a general good morning from the class, Buffy took roll call.
"Alexander Harris?"
A boy at the bay raised his hand.
"It's just…uh…Xander Miss Summers."
Buffy smiled and made the amendment in her register.
"Okay, next, Faith Evens?"
A brunette from the front stuck up her hand and Buffy went on. Soon, there were only two names on the list.
"Cordelia Chase?"
No-one responded and Buffy looked down at the last name.
"Willow Rosenberg?"
Again, there was no response.
"Does anyone know if Miss Chase and Miss Rosenberg are in school today?"
Xander raised his head.
"They are, Cordy had a hair panic attack and Will is trying to calm her down."
Buffy sighed and look over at Faith.
"Miss Evens, would you please go and find them?"
Faith stood up, ready to go look for them, when the door opened to reveal Cordy and Willow.
"Miss Chase and Miss Rosenberg I assume."
Both Cordy and Willow turned to look at the teacher, and Willow sucked in a breath.
She was gorgeous.
Buffy looked form the brunette to the redhead, her eyes lingering on the redhead before she gave herself a little shake.
"Please try to make it to class on time in future."
Willow scowled at Cordy.
She was a top A student, and never late to class. Her friend was a bad influence on her.
For the rest of the class, Buffy went over the work they would be doing throughout the year, her eyes always straying to Willow, who just happened to sit right in front of her desk.
Buffy's first week had passed relatively incident free, apart from a student named Parker thinking he could come on to her heavily, and apart from the fact that she had a crush on a female student, nothing else had happened to upset the week.
As it was a Friday night, she was out. Her friend Anya, had dragged her to a club called the Bronze, and Buffy soon discovered it had to be the only club in town, as it looked like all her students were there.
She had spotted Willow and Cordy out on the dance floor, surrounded by boys from their year, including Xander and Parker.
Scowling at Parker, Buffy turned back to her wine and listened as Anya talked about how well her business was doing.
That was the thing about Anya, she loved her money, whereas Buffy didn't think about it much, but that might have been more to do with the fact that she had millions in the bank, and only worked because she loved teaching art.
Her parents had died when she was four and her grandparents had raised her. When they had died, she was left everything, including the fifty-nine million dollars they had, which had grew over the years in interest.
As well as teaching art, she also painted, and made a fair bit of money from that too.
Her last painting, one she had done for charity, had sold for over two hundred thousand dollars.
Anya thought she was crazy working when she could retied at the age of twenty four and live anywhere in the world.
Buffy was pulled out of her own thoughts when Anya nudged her.
"Want another wine?"
"No, you know me and alcohol."
Anya smiled, remembering the last time she had seen Buffy drunk.
"But the look on you face when you remember what you've done the next day in priceless."
Buffy scowled and finished her glass before smirking at her friend.
"It wasn't me who ran through Central Park thinking a six foot pink bunny was chasing me!"
Anya glared and stood up.
"You just had to mention that didn't you?"
Buffy smirked and smiled when her friend left to get them new drinks.
They had been friends for seven years, and Anya had been there through her grandparents death.
She was more like a sister than a best friend. To bad she could only see her on the weekends now, seeing as how Anya lived in L.A.
They shared everything but their partners. And as Buffy was gay, that wasn't really a problem for them.
"Hey."
Buffy looked up to see Willow standing by their table.
"Hey Willow, you having fun?"
Willow smiled and sat in the seat Anya had vacated.
"Yeah, the bronze isn't usually this packed. How about you Miss Summers?"
Buffy smiled and leaned closer to be heard above the music.
"When we're not in class, it's Buffy."
Willow smiled and looked up as Xander and Cordy drifted over.
"Hey Will, Miss Summers."
Buffy rolled her eyes and Willow giggled.
When Anya arrived back to the table, it was to see Buffy surrounded by three teenagers, and she liked the look of the boy.
"Here."
Buffy looked up and accepted her Coke off her friend before gesturing to those at the table.
"Willow, Cordy and Xander, this is my best friend. Anya, this is Cordy, Willow and Xander, they are in my art class at school.
They all smiled their hellos and Buffy rolled her eyes when she saw the looks Xander and Anya were giving each other.
Kicking her friend under the table, Buffy glared at her.
Anya scowled and mumbled into her drink.
As the night wore on, Xander stood up to leave.
"Are you ladies okay for getting home?"
They all nodded their heads yes.
"Cordy drove, so I might end up with a concussion. You know she scraped someone's car the first day of school?" The last was said to Buffy and Anya, who snickered before Buffy frowned.
"You wouldn't by chance drive a red car would you?"
Cordy groaned.
"It was your car wasn't it?"
"Yes but don't worry about it."
Cordy shook her head and pulled out her check book.
"The repairs had to cost a lot, let me write you a check."
Buffy shook her head no.
"Really, it's okay."
"Yeah, Buff has more money than she could spend this lifetime, she's fine."
Buffy glared at her friend when the other three gawked at her.
"Thank you Anya."
Anya smiled and took a sip of her wine.
"Any time Buff."
"Yeah, actually, I'm ready to go to. You coming Will?" Cordy stood up and grabbed her coat and bag.
Willow stood up, though she didn't want to leave so early.
"Sure. Night Buffy, night Anya."
Both said their goodnights to Cordy, Willow and Xander. When the teenagers were gone, Buffy turned to look at Anya.
"What was up with you and Xander all night?"
Anya smirked.
"He's eighteen, I asked, so it's all legal."
Buffy's mouth dropped open.
Part 2
Buffy looked up as her first class of the day started filing in. smiling when she saw Xander, Cordy and Willow walk in.
"Good morning class, I trust that you have all done your homework." It wasn't a question.
Buffy was worried about how Willow, Cordy and Xander would treat her, after their night at the Bronze, but, it was Xander that put her at ease.
"Uh Miss Summers, I know you wanted a drawing of an umbrella, but forgive me if mine looks more like an over inflated pole, I can't draw."
A few students laughed at him, and Buffy gave him a small smile.
"That would be the point of taking my class Xander. To learn."
Once again, it was a Friday night, and once again, Buffy was at the Bronze with Anya, this time minus her three students.
"Man I'm so glad this week is over."
Buffy smiled at her best friend and took a sip of her wine.
"What, you not make enough money or something?"
Anya groaned before sitting up and finishing her glass of wine. Luckily, she had ordered them both two each, though each knew Buffy would stop at one, leaving three for Anya.
"Everything was going great until yesterday. The shop next door sprung a gas leak and I had to close up early and had to stay shut all day today. Do you realize how much money I've missed?"
Anya was being serious, so Buffy tried not to laugh.
"Well look at it this way, Halloween is coming up, and you always do more business around then."
Anya perked up at that and finished her second glass of wine in one gulp before eyeing Buffy's untouched one.
Smirking, Buffy handed her the glass of wine she wasn't going to drink.
"You ever think you have a problem?"
Anya seriously considered Buffy's question.
"Not enough sex?"
"Wow, is this a bad time?"
Buffy groaned.
"No Xander, Anya was just being, well Anya."
Xander gulped but sat down at the table. He was on his own and looked kind of nervous.
"This is okay right?"
Buffy frowned at him and noticed the looks he was giving Anya.
"Why wouldn't it be?"
He fidgeted and avoided Anya's gaze.
Buffy looked between the two and couldn't miss the tension.
Standing up, she smirked when their gazes shot to her.
"I'm getting another glass of wine." she left them there together and headed to the bar, praying that Anya didn't seduce him there and then.
"Hey."
Buffy swung around to see Willow behind her.
"Are you lot moving around only in ones tonight?"
Willow frowned before following Buffy's line of sight and laughing.
"He's been going on about her all week."
Buffy looked back at the redhead in front of her, the one she was absolutely not having lusty wrong feelings for.
"Is that a good thing?"
Willow shrugged. "Depends on your friend."
Buffy snorted, knowing exactly what Anya would think of it.
Willow suddenly realized that she was talking to a teacher.
"Ah, I mean, he is eighteen so it's totally legal."
Buffy sighed and turned around to order her drink.
Willow didn't know what to say next and settled for ordering a coke off the bartender.
"Your not even going to try to order something stronger?"
Willow shook her head no at Buffy.
"Me and alcohol don't mix. Bad things tend to happen."
Buffy smiled.
"That's one thing we have in common."
Willow blushed, causing Buffy to look away.
"We should probably go over and rescue Anya."
Buffy burst out laughing before pulling a confused Willow along behind her by the arm, trying not to notice the feel of the silky soft skin beneath her hand.
"You don't know Anya well enough, it's Xander we'll be rescuing."
When they reached the table, Willow saw that Buffy was partly right.
Anya sitting in Xander's lap, and while he looked comfortable, both Buffy and Willow could tell that this was all new to him.
"Anya!"
Anya turned at the sharp tone of Buffy's voice and at the look on her friends face, she sighed before turning and kissing Xander hard on the mouth, then getting up and moving back to her own seat, leaving a panting teenager behind.
"Spoil my fun."
Buffy rolled her eyes before taking her own seat and moving over to make room for Willow.
"Anya, could you please act your age for once?"
Anya rolled her eyes at her friend, not noticing the closeness between the blonde and the redhead.
"Buffy I'm twenty five, that's not old."
Buffy sighed and took a sip of her wine.
Willow looked between them both, wanting to know the age of the blonde. It was Xander that made her wish come true.
"Your twenty five?"
Anya nodded her head.
"Yes, so I know all these positions that make orgas-" Buffy leaned over and covered Anya's mouth with her hand before glaring at her.
"Please stop."
Anya rolled her eyes, but winked at the wide-eyed Xander.
"Jesus Buff lighten up, your twenty four, not sixty."
Willow contained her glee. Buffy was only six years older, well six and a half considering that Willow was still only seventeen.
She didn't know when it happened, or how, but Willow had realized that she definitely had feelings for her blonde teacher. She just didn't know how she felt about them.
Everyone at the table looked up when a shadow fell over the table.
"Hi there, would you like to dance?"
Buffy looked up at the girl asking her to dance before looking over at Anya, who was nodding her head quickly.
"Ah sure, why not."
Buffy set down her drink and let the tall brunette lead her onto the dance floor.
"I'm Claire by the way."
Buffy smiled and let her body move to the music.
"I'm Buffy."
Back at the table, Willow and Xander were gawking at Buffy on the dance floor.
Anya noticed and got annoyed because Xander's attention had left her.
"Yes she's gay, get over it."
They both whipped around to face her, sheepish expressions on their faces.
Willow was glad for the distraction. Having to see Buffy dance with that other woman was doing unpleasant things to her insides.
The beat of the song changed from fast to slow, and Buffy wavered.
Claire had no problem with it however and put her arms around Buffy's waist.
"This okay?"
Buffy nodded her head yes and looped her own arms up over Claire's neck, each one moving slowly to the song.
Willow gulped when she saw Buffy and the brunette dancing closer together and frowned looking back down at her coke.
Anya caught the frown out of the corner of her eye and turned to look fully at Willow, who she saw glance up at Buffy again.
Anya's eyes widened and her mouth opened when it all clicked.
Willow found herself getting increasingly jealous watching Buffy dancing, if it could even be called that.
Standing, she excused herself to go to the bathroom, leaving Anya alone with Xander.
When Buffy got back to the table, she found Willow gone, and Anya back in Xander's lap kissing and groping him.
Tapping her friend on the should to get her attention, Buffy asked where Willow had disappeared to.
"She said bathroom, but that was ages ago."
Buffy looked around the dance floor to see if she could see Willow, but there wasn't a redhead in sight. Looking back down at the two kissing, Buffy sighed and picked up her coat.
"Well I'm going to head home. Try not to wake me when you get in okay?"
Anya hummed her agreement against Xander's mouth.
Buffy shook her head at her friend and left them to it, praying that she didn't bump into Xander when she was eating her breakfast in the morning.
Willow walked slowly home, cursing herself for leaving and not staying to see what had happened with Buffy and the girl.
It was stupid, she knew. She couldn't have a relationship with her teacher, there were laws against it.
Sighing she picked up her pace when it started to rain.
Buffy slowed down her car when she spotted a figure walking in the rain. Pulling up along side Willow, Buffy rolled down her window and called out to the redhead.
"Hey Will, want a lift home?"
Willow turned around, a happy feeling filling her when she saw that Buffy was alone.
"Sure, thanks."
When she was in, Buffy pulled away from the curb and asked for directions to Willow's house.
"It's 1630 Revello Drive."
Buffy knew where it was and set off, turning the radio back up a little as she did.
"So, how come you left the club early?"
Willow shrugged and looked away.
Frowning, Buffy let the matter slide.
"So, what are the chances of me waking up to find Xander in my home tomorrow morning?"
Willow turned with her mouth open. Was Buffy interested in Xander as well?
Buffy saw the look and let Willow stew for a few seconds before laughing.
"Anya stays with me when she comes down at the weekends."
Willow let out a sigh that Buffy missed.
"Well, Xander is a teenage boy, so odds are, you might see him. It all depends on Anya."
Buffy sighed and rolled her neck.
"Guess that's one more for breakfast then."
The rest of the drive was made in silence, apart from the music drifting up from the radio, and that surprised Buffy. She usually didn't like being with people and not talking, yet with Willow, she found she was comfortable with it.
"Well here's you stop."
Willow smiled and thanks Buffy for the lift before getting out of the car.
"Hey Willow?"
Willow turned and look back at the blonde.
"Anya and I were going to go to the Carnival tomorrow, and I'm guessing that she is going to bring Xander, want to come and help me not be a third wheel?"
"Yeah, okay, what time?"
Buffy smiled and told her that she'd pick her up at ten in the morning.
"Okay then, night Buffy."
"Goodnight Willow."
Buffy frowned at herself as she drove home. She was getting those feelings again, and she couldn't have them, not for a student.
She could go to jail for gods sake.
Rubbing her eyes, she let herself into the house and went straight to her room before changing clothes and putting on a pair of sweats and a tank top and going into her studio.
Staring at the blank canvas before her, Buffy mixed her paints and began painting of the Victorian Ball she had been asked to do.
She never even noticed, that as she drew the outline for one of the guests, that she had painted Willow into the picture.
Straightening her back, Buffy looked at her watch and saw the it was past four in the morning.
Drawing back, Buffy overlooked the painting so far, and that's when she saw it.
Right in the middle, dressed in a green ball gown, was Willow.
"Oh Shit."
Part 3
Buffy had just poured herself a cup of coffee, when she heard a cough from behind her.
Turning, she rolled her eyes when she saw Xander.
"Ah, hey."
Buffy sighed and closed her eyes before handing him a coffee cup.
"Where's Anya?"
Xander took his coffee and sat on the stool across from his teacher.
"Taking a shower."
They both sat looking at each other, neither knowing what to say.
When it became too uncomfortable, Xander broke his silence.
"This place is amazing."
Buffy looked up from her cooling coffee.
"Yeah, well, I like my space."
He whistled and looked around the kitchen they were sitting in. It was fitted with all the latest appliances and was about twice the size of his bedroom at home.
They were saved from more awkwardness when Anya walked in, Buffy rolling her eyes at her friend.
"Morning Buffy."
Buffy just looked at her before rolling her eyes and standing up.
"I'm going to pick up more paints before I have to collect Willow."
Anya perked up and stopped kissing Xander.
"Willow's coming with us?"
Buffy shrugged, not knowing if bringing the redhead was a good idea.
"Well, I figured that you would be bringing Xander, so I asked Willow. It will save me from being left to my own devices while you drag him off somewhere."
Anya thought about it before realizing Buffy had a point.
"Alright, are we meeting you two there then?"
Buffy looked between them, noticing the look in their eyes when they looked at each other.
"Try to at least not be too late." Smirking at them, she left them to it, knowing that they hadn't heard her at all.
Willow opened the door with a smile on her face, until she noticed the look on Buffy's face.
"You okay?"
Buffy snapped out of her thoughts, which happened to involve the redhead before her. She had to get over this thing and quickly. There was so much wrong with it, she didn't know where to start.
'So why can't I stop thinking about her?'
"Oh, ah yeah I'm good. You ready?"
Willow nodded her head and grabbed her bag.
"So, did you have an extra house-guest this morning?"
Buffy rolled her eyes and laughed a little, remembering the look on Xander's face when he had first entered the kitchen.
"Yeah, I'm going to have to have a word with Anya at some point."
Willow frowned and looked over at blonde before her eyes widened when she saw the car.
"Wow."
Buffy followed her gaze and smiled.
"2005 Porsche Carrera GT, sleek and sexy. Plus, it's a convertible. You like?"
Willow nodded her head quickly and Buffy looked between the car and the redhead.
"If you want, you can take it for a spin later on."
Willow squealed and started jumping up and down on the spot.
Buffy laughed at her and unlocked the car, opening Willow's door for her.
"I'll take that as a yes. Okay, later on tonight, you can have a spin around town."
Willow suddenly got a worried look on her face.
"What if I crash it?"
Buffy clipped her seat belt on and shook her head.
"Can you drive?"
Willow nodded her head.
"Then you'll be fine, plus I'll be with you the entire time."
Smiling, Willow relaxed into her seat, and her earlier question came back to her.
"What do you need to talk to Anya about Xander for?"
Buffy looked away, knowing that what she was going to say, was as much for Anya's benefit, as her own.
"If she is going to keep seeing Xander, then she's going to have to do it somewhere other than my home. How's it going to look if I have male students staying overnight?"
Willow nodded her head that it was a valid point, before the imp in her made her tease the blonde.
"So they wouldn't say anything if it was a female student?"
Buffy swerved the car, causing another driver to honk their horns and shout something about people in fast cars.
"Why would you say that?" 'God, does she know?'
Willow frowned at the worried tone Buffy used.
"Sorry, I didn't mean anything by it." 'If only.'
Buffy fixed her eyes back on the road and decided that some music might help.
Willow sighed, sure she had upset Buffy.
"Look, I'm sorry, sometimes my brain doesn't catch up with my mouth in time."
Buffy didn't say anything, but her grip on the steering wheel lessened.
"And I wont say anything, about you being gay, and I'll make sure Xander doesn't either."
Buffy pulled over to the side of the road, knowing she couldn't have this conversation and drive at the same time.
"Willow, there's no need to keep it a secret, I'm not ashamed of it-"
"No I didn't mean that!" Willow cut her off, not wanting Buffy to think she had a thing against same sex relationships.
Buffy smiled at the venomous tone.
"I just mean, that everyone who is important to me knows my orientation, so it's not an issue."
Relaxing some, Willow smiled.
"Then I'm sorry about the student remark. I doubt that you would do that, it was insensitive." 'her bottom lip looks so soft'
Buffy closed her eyes in shame at the thoughts she was having about proving Willow wrong and opened them again to see Willow staring at her lips.
Coughing, Buffy started the car again.
"Apology excepted."
Willow didn't notice that Buffy hadn't agreed with her, but Buffy herself was aware of it.
'I'm going straight to hell.'
Willow rolled her eyes when Xander and Anya finally appeared. They were over two hours late and while she was enjoying the alone time with Buffy, she sensed that the blonde was only there in body and not in mind.
"Hey you two."
Buffy's head whipped up and she smiled. She had never been so happy to see Anya.
"I'm not going to ask, and I don't want to know why you two are late. But, you're here now and the wheel has just opened up."
They all set off to the big wheel and paid their cover to get on.
When they reached the top, Xander remembered why he heated them.
"Oh god look at that."
Willow rubbed his back in sympathy.
"Don't look down."
Buffy and Anya turned to look at Xander.
"Your afraid of heights?" Buffy asked with a frown.
He nodded his head and swallowed hard.
"Then why get on this thing?"
Xander shrugged.
"I just need a distraction."
Anya took this as invitation and moved over to sit in his lap, kissing him hard.
Willow blushed and looked away, seeing Buffy roll her eyes and take in the view from the top.
Anya took her time distraction Xander, leaving the other two occupants of the cart to themselves.
Buffy stood up and walked the short distance to the enclosed railing.
She had to do something about this Willow thing. She hadn't been able to concentrate since the drive down to the carnival.
"It's beautiful isn't it?"
Buffy nodded her head at Willow's' comment.
"I used to live here you know."
Willow turned her full attention to Buffy.
"Yeah?"
Buffy smiled as she remember running into her fathers arms in the park she could see just on the boundaries of the carnival.
"Yeah. Up until I was four I lived here with my parents."
Willow leaned forward and rested her arm on the railing.
"What happened when you were four?"
She was sorry she asked when Buffy's eyes turned sad.
"My mom and dad were in a car accident. It was a drunk driver. My mom died instantly, but my dad was in a coma for a month before he passed away. My dads parents brought me to LA and raised me."
Willow reached out and rested her hand on Buffy's arm, trying hard not to notice the softness of Buffy's skin.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories."
Buffy smiled softly and caught Willow's eyes with her own.
"S'okay."
'we are definitely having a moment here' thought Willow.
They were interrupted when Anya coughed loudly.
"We're back on the ground people."
Xander was the first one out, followed by Willow.
Anya grabbed Buffy's arm before the blonde could exit.
"What's going on with you and Willow?"
Buffy's eyes widened.
"Nothing!"
Anya looked at her and Buffy flinched.
"Look, now is really not the time to talk about it okay? But don't worry, it's nothing."
Anya let go of her friends arm and nodded.
"Tonight you and me are going to have a conversation."
Part 4
Willow was skipping as they all left the carnival grounds.
"Will, you okay?" Xander looked at his friend, wondering why she was so happy.
Willow smirked and looked over at Buffy.
"Wait until you see the car we came in."
Anya looked over at Buffy, an eyebrow raised.
Buffy fidgeted and looked away.
"Which car is it?"
"The new one."
Anya rolled her eyes. Buffy sure did love her cars.
"And the best thing? She's going to let me drive it later!" Willow was giddy.
Anya spat out the mouthful of coke she had just taken.
"You're what?"
Willow and Xander paused, neither knowing why Anya sounded pissed off.
Buffy rolled her eyes and took out her car keys.
"It's no big deal Anya."
Anya huffed.
"Sure, it's nothing."
Buffy knew what Anya was talking about, but the others didn't, so it was okay.
The two teenagers let it drop, knowing they were missing something, but didn't know what.
The ride back was filled with talking, mostly Willow's.
Anya and Xander had left in his car, leaving Buffy alone again with Willow and a knowing look from Anya.
"I wish Cordy could have been here."
Buffy's jaw tightened, trying to hide her jealously.
"Your close then?"
Willow looked at the blonde out of the corner of her eye, wondering why she sounded so strained.
"Yeah, we've been best friends since the first grade, me, Cordy and Xander."
Buffy relaxed her jaw.
"Maybe next time though." Willow added on, hoping that Buffy got that she had enjoyed herself.
Buffy made an hmm sound and eased the car around yet another bend.
"How fast can this thing go?"
Buffy shrugged, then got a wicked look on her face.
"Want to find out?"
Willow shook her head no.
"Too much traffic."
Buffy smiled and took the turnoff to the left instead of the right.
"Where we're going, we'll be the only ones on the road."
Willow frowned and took the phone Buffy handed her.
"Call your parents, tell them you wont be home for a few hours still."
Willow looked at the phone, before looking at Buffy.
"Trust me, you'll love it."
One hour later, they were still driving.
"Okay, enough. Where are we going?"
Buffy heard the nervousness in Willow's voice and frowned at it. She reached over and turned the radio down before concentrating on the road as she spoke.
"Are you okay?"
Willow sighed, thinking Buffy wasn't going to tell her.
Buffy chanced a look at her traveling partner.
"We're going to L.A."
Willow's eyes widened.
"Are you crazy?"
Buffy wanted to pull the car over, but as they were on the highway, she couldn't really do that.
"My cousin owns a race track that we can use."
Willow's eyes widened. 'her whole family must be rich'
When Willow didn't say anything, Buffy sighed. She had actually been giddy herself, and it wasn't solely from the impending track visit.
"Look, if you don't want to, we can go back, I just thought-"
"No," Willow cut Buffy off and sent a smile over to the blonde.
"I was just shocked that's all."
Buffy chanced another peak, smiling when she saw the smile on Willow's face.
"Just think, Xander will be so jealous."
"Lorne!" Buffy ran over to the man standing by the edge of the track, and threw herself into his arms.
"Hey Sugarplum!" He picked her up and spun her around as if she weighted nothing.
When he put her down, he noticed the redhead standing a few feet away, watching with a smile on her face.
"And who is this beauty? You've been holding out on us! When did you go and get a new girlfriend?"
Both Buffy and Willow blushed and as Buffy went to explain, Willow pulled on her arm to stop her.
"It's still very new."
Buffy turned wide eyes to Willow as Lorne smiled.
"Be right back you two." He ran off to talk to his track manager, leaving the two behind.
"What the hell was that?"
Willow took her hand off Buffy's arms and sighed, wrapping her own around herself.
"I just figured it would be easier than telling him that I'm your student and answering all the questions that would bring."
Buffy sighed and shook her head.
"He's family Willow."
Willow's head lowered and Buffy sighed.
"But, I guess it's okay, and it would stop the questions I know he would ask."
Willow perked up with a smile and nodded her head, indicating that Lorne was coming back.
"So, Sweetie, I want details!"
Buffy groaned and looked at Willow, it was her story after all.
Willow screamed as the car went faster, taking it over 150mph. Buffy laughed and pressed the peddle harder, really pushing her new toy.
"How cool is this?" She had to shout to be heard over Willow's scream.
"Do you want me to slow down?" Willow was still screaming, and Buffy didn't know what to make of it.
Willow turned to grin, even though she was scared.
"No, go faster!"
Buffy didn't dare take her eyes off the road, but she did smile.
"I love this car."
Lorne watched from the stands as his cousin took her car through its paces.
As she went faster, he stood up, worried something would happen.
When she was a teenager, Buffy refused to get behind the wheel of a car, swearing that she would never drive.
One day down at the track changed that and she was hooked.
He watched as Buffy controlled the car around yet another bend and sighed, trusting in her handling of the car.
As he pictured her with the redhead, he smiled. He hadn't seen her happy in too long, and it was about time she found some again.
"That was excellent!" Willow spun around and threw her arms around her driver, not noticing when Buffy stiffened before returning the embrace.
'You are so going straight to hell Buffy' Buffy groaned as she felt Willow's chest pressed up against her own.
"Hey little cousin, nice driving." Lorne gave her a pat on the back and smiled at Willow, who still had one arm around Buffy.
"How about we go and have some food?"
Buffy perked up at the mention of food.
"Sure, but it can only be a quick bite, we, I mean I have school tomorrow."
Lorne frowned, but let the slip go.
"And how is the new job going?"
Both Willow and Lorne smiled when they saw Buffy's face light up.
"It's amazing…" Buffy went on to gush over her new job to Lorne, while Willow shook her head, getting her thoughts back on track, and away from where they wanted to be, back in Buffy's arms, and for the relationship charade to be true.
Part 5
Willow sighed as the LA lights faded into the background.
"Thank you for today."
Buffy flashed her a quick smile and focused back on the road.
"I hope you aren't too mad."
Frowning, Buffy slowed her car as traffic started to build up.
"Mad?"
Willow blushed.
"About the whole girlfriends thing."
Buffy half giggled, even as she frowned at the traffic, it shouldn't be this bad.
"It's okay. I'm not mad." 'mostly because I wish it was true'
Willow let out a relieved breath, before she too noticed the traffic slowing down.
"Wonder what's going on."
Buffy shrugged and turned on the local news, hoping for a traffic report.
"Must just be a build up-"
She was interrupted by the news reporter.
"This just in, there has been a traffic incident on Highway 31 east bound. All traffic moving in that direction is advised to take caution and be aware that delays may be long. It is unclear at the moment the nature of the build-up."
Buffy groaned and thumped her hand on the steering wheel.
"I wanted to finish that painting tonight, guess that's out the window."
Willow half smiled and leaned back, resting her head on the seatback.
"What was it of?"
Buffy sighed as the car came to a stop in a long line of traffic.
"It's a Victorian Ball. A friend of my grandfathers asked me to do it, I wanted to give it to him on Monday because it's his seventieth birthday."
Willow reached over and patted Buffy's hand.
"You still have all day tomorrow."
Buffy turned and sent her a smile.
"That's true."
When she looked back at the road, she realized Willow's hand was still touching her own.
Coughing, she turned the radio up again, hoping that the music would calm her racing pulse.
Two hours later, and they were still in the car on the same stretch of road.
Buffy pulled out her cell again, and handed it to Willow.
"You better ring home again."
Willow took the phone, and dialed the number she knew by heart.
"Hello mom…no I'm on my way, the thing is, we're kinda stuck in traffic…where am I?…on my way back from LA…yes I know…no I wasn't shopping again…I'm with a friend…yes okay…I'll ring again when the traffic starts moving…okay bye." Willow hung up and handed Buffy back her phone.
"I take it she wasn't pleased?"
Willow rolled her eyes.
"You know how parents are."
Buffy was silent, and when Willow realized what she had said, she turned toward the blonde.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"
"It's fine, really." Buffy cut her off, not wanting to stay on that topic of conversation.
The traffic moved a few car lengths, before it stopped again.
"Thank god this is a air conditioned car."
Buffy smiled and shook her hair out of her ponytail.
Willow gulped as she watched Buffy's blonde locks fall over her shoulders, and could swear she could hear cheesy forties music playing in the background.
Buffy caught her staring, and looked away, fighting the thoughts running through her head.
Willow gulped, knowing Buffy had caught her staring.
"So, any chance of this traffic moving?"
Buffy half smiled and leaned back, resting her neck on the seat.
"Man I wish."
Buffy groaned as she rolled her neck, before jumping when he cell phone rang.
Looking at the caller ID, she knew it was Anya.
"Hey An…we're stuck in traffic…coming back from LA…we went to the track…oh for gods sake no…he says hey by the way…yes I know you miss him…I'll see what I can do…haven't a clue…yes Willow called home…"
Willow tuned out the rest, miffed that both Buffy and Anya seemed to think of her as a child.
"Okay bye."
Buffy hung up and sighed before moving the car forward a few feet.
"Xander says hello by the way."
Willow grunted causing Buffy to turn and look at her.
"Something wrong?"
Willow shook her head no and stared out her side window.
Buffy sighed, knowing somehow she had managed to piss Willow off.
She was about to open her mouth and ask what was wrong, when Willow turned the radio up a little and stared out her window again as the singers voice drifted through the speakers.
As Buffy listened to the words, a smile tugged at her lips.
"This is why I became a teacher."
Willow's head turned slowly, wondering why Buffy was talking about.
"Well, not this actual song, but the meaning behind it is why I became a teacher.
Smirking at her student, Buffy nodded to the radio.
"Listen."
There are so many things I never asked you
There are so many things I still don't know
There are so many things you never told me
And still so many things that I will never know
and why, cuz I went to City High
Willow frowned, still not getting it.
A school with more drop outs than sign-ups at registration
And the pregnancy rate is at an all-time high, we all know why
Now you would think the classroom's the place for mental stimulation
But it's some brothers outside sellin' that stuff, that'll really stimulate your
mind, (talk about gettin' high)
Willow smiled, finally getting it.
So, We don't need your education
We don't want no pacifier
We are the leaders of your nation
We're gonna make sure the world survives
There ain't no justice there's just us
What happened to the meaning of "in God we trust"
So as we get older and our children grow up
We ain't gonna teach them what y'all showed us
The song faded out and the next began. Willow looked over at Buffy and smiled.
"You've always wanted to be a teacher huh?"
Buffy smiled and nodded her head.
"I have. I love teaching art, making people understand the reasons behind each stoke of a pencil, or swipe of a brush."
That's when it hit home to Willow. No matter how much she liked Buffy, Buffy would never like her the same way. She stood to lose too much.
"It's a nice song."
Buffy smiled and opened the glove compartment.
"If it's a nice song you want, I aim to please."
She took a CD out of its case and put it into the CD player.
They sat back, and let Rod Stewart take their minds off the never ending traffic jam they seemed to be in.
Buffy pulled into Willow's drive-way and killed the engine.
"Sorry that you didn't get a chance to drive."
Willow shrugged.
"The track made up for it, though I wouldn't say no."
Buffy smiled and looked at the house before her.
"How does tomorrow sound?" 'Dammit, no'
Willow's smile was wide, and Buffy found herself smiling in return.
"Are you sure?"
'tell her no'
"Yeah, how about I pick you up about noon?"
Willow nodded her head and got out of the car.
"Goodnight."
Buffy echoed it and watched as Willow went into the house, sighing as she thumped her head off the steering wheel.
"Dammit Buffy. Off limits remember."
Buffy sighed as she pulled out of the drive and headed home.
When she stepped into her house, she knew Anya was there, and that Xander was with her.
The biggest clue, wasn't the fact that she could head groaning when she passed the living room, but that there were clothes littering the hallway.
"Anya! Next time make it to your room!" Buffy growled as she head to her own room to shower.
When she was done with that, she looked between her bed, and the door that led to her studio.
Groaning, she flopped down on it and was sleeping in minutes. She could finish the painting in the morning before she picked up Willow.
Part 6
Buffy rolled over in bed, and reached for the person that should have been beside her.
Groaning as her hand came into contact with cold sheets, she sat up.
Just as she was about to call out her bed partners name, her eyes widened.
'just a dream, she's not here'
Pouting, she climbed out of bed and headed for the shower, tying her hair back so it wouldn't get wet.
As the warm water hit her chest, she groaned realizing that her dream had left her aroused.
Flicking the water switch, she squealed as she was blasted by cold water.
After standing under it for a minute, Buffy jumped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her.
"Right, firsts things first. Workout. Paint. Willow."
Buffy moaned as she got an image in her head of paining Willow nude.
"So not helping me right now."
"Okay, so cold shower, workout, paint then Willow." Buffy groaned as she once again stood under the cold water.
Willow's mother looked up from her newspaper when her overly happy daughter came bouncing into the kitchen.
"Good morning."
Willow smiled at her mom and kissed her on the cheek.
Her mother smiled, a surprised expression on her face.
"What brought on the happiness?"
Willow blushed as she remembered her dream.
"I'm just happy."
Her mother smiled knowingly.
"Who is he?"
Willow's eyes widened.
"There is no he."
She realized that she may have said that a little to forcefully when she saw the calculating look on her mothers face.
Willow grabbed a muffin and waved before rushing out of the room and back up to her bedroom.
By the time she reached her bed, her good mood was gone. Now not only did she have to suffer having feelings for someone she couldn't date, but now she knew she had to have the talk with her parents.
"My life sucks."
Stepping back, Buffy looked over the painting before smiling. She had finally gotten it finished, and she still had thirty minutes to collect Willow.
Lifting the painting carefully off its stand, Buffy placed it on the tripod that was clean of any paint spillages.
Wetting a damp cloth, she ran it around the edges of the tripod the painting had just been moved from, before standing back and stretching.
Now all she had to do was frame it.
Willow came bouncing down the stairs when she heard a car pull into their driveway.
"That's for me, Bye mom, Bye dad." Willow was out the door before either could say anything.
Willow's mom stood up and moved to the window in time to see her daughter get into a very expensive looking car, with a blonde girl sitting in the drivers seat.
"Hey Buffy."
Buffy smiled as Willow fastened her seatbelt.
"Morning Will."
"So, where are we going to go?"
Buffy smirked and pulled out of the driveway, easing the car into gear and heading off in the direction of her house.
"It needs to be somewhere where there is no chance of her being damaged, because I love this car."
"Hey! It just so happens that I am a good driver." Willow pouted, not seeing Buffy's eyes darken as she looked at the redheads lower lip.
"It isn't you I'm worried about."
Willow's pout turned into a smile before she relaxed back into the seat.
"Okay, so where are we going?"
Buffy smiled as she put her sunglasses on, hoping to block the glare of the sun and at the same time hide her straying eyes from Willow.
"My place."
Willow's eyes widened when they pulled into Buffy's driveway.
"You call this a home?"
Buffy frowned and slowed the car down before getting out and gesturing for Willow to do the same.
"Something wrong?"
Willow turned wide eyes back to the blonde as she was handed the car keys.
"How big is this place?"
Buffy shrugged and slipped into the passenger seat.
"Drive up the pathway, then turn to your left, after that, go where you want."
Willow frowned and slipped the key into the ignition.
As the car came to life, she smiled before easing it into gear and following Buffy's directions.
"I'm telling you, clothes were everywhere." Buffy laughed as she and Willow made their way into her home.
Willow blushed and ducked her head, causing Buffy to stop laughing and tilt her own.
'surely she's not…'
"I don't know if he's still here, but I would stay away from the living room if I were you."
Willow quickly nodded her head and followed Buffy into the kitchen.
"You want anything?"
Willow looked over the contents of the fridge, and wasn't surprised to see nearly every drink known to man in it.
"A water will be fine."
Buffy grabbed to waters and handed Willow hers before leading her out onto the back porch.
Willow gasped when she saw the pool.
"Oh god, you have to have a pool party soon."
Buffy frowned and picked at her water bottle.
"I don't know, the only people I know here are my students, and Anya – who doesn't even live here."
Willow shrugged and plonked herself down in the closest seat.
"Invite some old friends down from L.A. And we aren't just your students you know."
Buffy sent her a small smile before looking up at the cloudless sky.
"Yeah okay, how about next weekend?"
At the back of her mind, being ruthlessly pushed back, was the image of Willow in a swim suit.
Willow's smile was answer enough.
They were interrupted when Xander appeared.
"I thought I heard you Will."
Both Buffy and Willow groaned silently, neither wanting their alone time to end.
Part 7
Rupert Giles looked up when he heard someone calling his name.
"Ah, Miss Summers."
Buffy smiled and set her bag on the counter top.
"Please, call me Buffy."
He smiled and tilted his head.
"Only if you'll call me Giles, I don't much like the 'Mr' part. Makes me sound old."
Buffy laughed and nodded her head.
"Okay, Giles. I'm actually here on business. I was looking for a book that I need. I ordered enough for everyone in the class, but the suppliers sent one less."
He came around the desk and opened the card index.
"What's the title?"
As he was looking for the card, Buffy took a seat at the desk, only looking up when she heard the doors open.
"Hey Bu- Miss Summers." Willow caught herself and smiled at Buffy before turning and telling Giles good morning.
"Willow, good I was hoping that you'd be by early."
Xander plopped down beside Buffy, and set a box of donuts on the table.
"Help yourself."
Buffy grinned and opened the box, nearly drooling when she saw the jelly ones.
"Thanks, I kinda skipped breakfast this morning. So what's Will doing for Giles?"
"Some computer thing." It was a wonder Xander could speak, considering he had two donuts stuffed into his mouth.
Buffy smiled and stood up when Giles called her over.
"Here you go, that card tells you what section you need to look in."
Buffy took the card from him, smiled at Willow, and left the two of them to it, to find her book.
Willow finished what she was doing on the computer for Giles and stood up to stretch.
"Hey, did Miss Summers leave yet Giles?"
He looked up and shook his head no.
"Xander has though, he said to meet him in class."
Willow nodded her head and headed into the stacks to find Buffy.
It took her a few moments, but she finally found the blonde sitting on the floor, with a book on her lap.
"Hey."
Buffy jumped, dropping the book from its resting place.
"God Willow! Don't do that."
Willow smirked and crouched down.
Buffy's eyes widened as she saw Willow's jeans pull tight against her legs, showing her curves.
"What's up?" She really hoped Willow didn't notice the highness in her voice.
She did, but she wasn't sure what was causing it.
"Nothing, just figured that I'd come back and say hello, but if you want I can…" Willow made as if to stand up, but Buffy reached out and pulled her back down.
Neither knew if Buffy pulled to hard, or Willow went down to easily, but Willow ended up half on Buffy's lap where her book had been.
Buffy froze, trying not to groan out loud at the feel of the redhead against her.
Willow blushed before taking a breath, which did cause Buffy to gasp though Willow missed it, and pulling back onto her hunches.
"Sorry."
Buffy took her own deep breath and smiled.
"My fault."
"So, what were you reading?" Willow wanted to change the subject, trying not to seem like a dork.
Buffy smiled and showed her the art history book.
"I was one short, thankfully Giles had one on hand."
Buffy rushed into the teachers toilets and sighed when the door closed.
Setting down her bag and her book, she rolled her sleeves up and turned on the cold water before splashing some on her face and neck.
"I have got to get a grip."
Taking a deep breath, she held it and counted to ten before slowly releasing it again.
Finally feeling under control, she gathered her things and left, heading for her first class of the day.
Willow watched as Xander squirted more sauce on his fries and laughed when he squeezed to hard.
"Oh sure, laugh it up." He took a napkin and wiped off the excess sauce before stuffing a fry into his mouth.
"So, how's things with Anya?"
Willow watched as a smiled lit her friends face.
"She's great Will, and I'm not taking about the sex, which is also excellent, but I really like spending time with her."
Willow blushed, not wanting to think about Xander and sex in the same sentence.
"She was talking about getting her own place in Sunnydale for the weekends."
Willow looked up at that.
"Why?"
She watched as he blushed and shook her head.
"Never mind. I don't think I want to know."
He smiled and ate another fry.
"She'll miss staying with Buffy though."
Willow smiled at the mention on the blonde.
"They are pretty good friends."
Xander nodded as he demolished the rest of his fries.
"Best friends according to Anya."
Willow tilted her head, wondering just Anya had told Xander about the blonde.
"What else did she say?"
Xander looked up, sauce on his chin and frowned.
"Who?
Willow rolled her eyes and threw a napkin at him.
"Anya. About Buffy."
He wiped the sauce off and threw the napkin on the now empty plate.
"Just that they've been best friends for years, and helped each other through hard times."
He watched Willow's face, wondering if Anya was right about his friend having a crush on their teacher.
"She mentioned that they had a relationship, but it was only sex."
Willow's eyes widened before narrowing in jealously.
Bingo ,thought Xander.
"I'm kidding Will, they're just best friends."
'whoops, busted'
Willow smiled sheepishly at the knowing look on Xander's face.
Xander stood up as the end of lunch bell rang.
"You and me Miss Rosenberg are going to have a little chat."
Willow gulped and grabbed her bag.
"Sorry, can't, we have class."
"Yeah, and it happens to be art." Xander smirked.
Willow groaned.
Part 8
When they entered the class, Willow kept her eyes away from Buffy, which was hard considering she sat right in front of her desk
She just didn't want to give Xander anymore ammunition. She had begged him on the way to class to drop it, promising that she would talk to him after school about it.
Buffy frowned when Willow didn't acknowledge her at all. Both Xander and Cordy gave her their usual smiles and nods, but nothing from the redhead.
'maybe she was freaked out by what happened in the library'
Buffy sighed as she skimmed over the class, looking for late comers and absentees.
"Okay, anyone know where Faith is?"
No-one answer.
Buffy sighed again and sat back in her chair.
"Okay, is the silence because no-one knows where she is, or someone does but doesn't want to say?"
A hand rose from the back.
"I saw her out by the lunch hall, the doors near the quad.
Buffy stood up and lifted the books from her desk and set them on Xander's.
"Pass them back. Everyone gets a book. Start reading chapter one."
Turning, Buffy left the room.
Willow and Xander exchanged looks, before Xander started passing the books back like the blonde had asked.
Buffy glared at the other girls there when she finally spotted Faith.
"Miss Evens, is there a reason that you are not in class?"
Faith turned and looked Buffy up and down before snorting and turning back to her conversation.
Buffy's eyebrows rose before she turned and looked pointedly at the others.
"Class. Go. Now."
They looked between Faith and the small teacher before shrugging and waving goodbye.
Faith glared and turned to face Buffy.
"What is your problem?"
Buffy's eyes hardened into a look the girl hadn't seen before.
"Faith, drop the attitude."
Faith snorted before turning and walking out the door closest to her.
Buffy frowned before following her into the quad.
"Faith!"
The brunette turned, a bored look on her face.
"What?"
Buffy came to stand in front of her, and plucked the cigarette Faith had just been about to light, from her mouth.
"One, no smoking. Two, get your ass back into that school and into my class right now."
Faith smirked stepped closer.
"Or what?"
Buffy frowned at the hostile vibes she could practically feel coming from the other girl.
"What is wrong?"
"I sick of dumbass teachers thinking their better than me." Faith all but growled as she went to light another cigarette.
Buffy again snatched it off her.
Buffy stared at the jittery girl in front of her before a thought came to her. She had heard the rumors after all.
"Is it drugs?"
Faith's eyes widened. Before they hardened.
The last thing Buffy expected, was to see a fist come at her. She didn't have time to move out of the way and it connected with her jaw.
"Dammit Faith!"
Buffy stepped back as the grinning brunette moved towards her.
"Faith stop."
She didn't, and Buffy soon found herself backed into a wall.
She wasn't scared, she knew that she could kick Faith's ass if need be, but the school board frowned on teacher's hitting students.
She was able to duck this time, and Faith's fist hit the wall, but her knee connected, hard.
Buffy cried out and gripped her side before bringing her arm up and twisting Faith's, putting her off balance and swapping their positions, only so Faith was facing the wall.
"Faith, calm down." Buffy felt like she was talking to a wild animal.
Faith snarled and kicked back, but Buffy had a good hold on her.
The teacher frowned when Faith started laughing.
"Go ahead, stay there. I'm sure the boss man will love to hear how you attacked me, outside the school no less."
Buffy's eyes widened and she loosened her grip a little in shock. Faith couldn't be saying what she thought she was.
"Faith?"
The brunette laughed again before whimpering.
"Sir…I tried to stop her…but she hurt me sir…she wouldn't stop…"
Buffy let go in shock.
"You need help Faith. No-one will believe that."
But even if they didn't believe Faith, the doubt would always be there.
Faith turned and grinned before whimpering again.
"I told her no…to stop…she didn't listen…sir, she touched me…made me do things…"
Buffy backed away, her face pale as Faith took off running.
"Oh god, I think I'm gonna be sick." Buffy turned and wretched, bring up a little bile.
The school board took those claims seriously, which they should do.
"Buffy?"
Buffy looked up when she saw Giles, tears in her eyes but not falling.
He wrapped an arm around her and lowered his voice.
"I saw and heard everything. Not to worry." The barely restrained fury was heard in his voice.
And just like that, Buffy knew everything would be okay. Faith wouldn't get away with it.
"We have to go and tell Principal Wood immediately."
Buffy nodded her head and let him lead her through the school to Wood's office, thanking her guardian Angel's for Giles being there.
Willow looked at the clock. The class was over in five minutes and Buffy still wasn't back.
She was worried. Everyone knew of Faith's drug problem. She hoped Buffy was okay.
Xander nudged her when the door opened to reveal Buffy.
The blonde kept her face turned away so the class wouldn't see the swelling on her jaw.
"Class is over, take the books, read the next chapter."
Willow wanted to stay, see what had happened, but then she remember Xander and lowered her eyes as she left the room, never seeing Buffy's stare.
Xander held back, forgetting completely about teasing his best friend about her crush.
When the last student had left, he approached her desk.
"Buffy, are you okay?"
Buffy sighed and told him she was fine.
He paused, something in her voice not convincing him.
"Xander, really I'm fine, but you are about to be late for Math."
That clinched it. He nodded, though she couldn't see it, and left the room.
Buffy took a deep breath before letting it out slowly. Her jaw and side hurt from Faith's hits.
She was still shaking, and knew she should have took Wood up on his offer of going home right away for the rest of the day.
But she had wanted to get back to her class. When she had walked into the room, and Willow still wouldn't look at her, she felt drained, which was why she sent them on early.
Picking up her bag, she left the building and climbed into her SUV.
Only when she had started her car and pulled out of the schools parking lot, did she let the tears fall.
Taking out her cell, she called the only remaining blood family she had left.
"Hey Lorne, it's me."
Willow waited on Xander outside Math, knowing he had stayed behind and she was kicking herself because she hadn't.
"Well?"
Xander shrugged.
"She said she was fine."
Willow didn't look convinced, so he slung his arm around her shoulder.
"Will, she's fine. She probably just spent the entire period talking to Faith."
Willow smiled.
"You right, Buffy's like that."
She remembered why the blonde had wanted to become a teacher, to actually teach the students, as well as be there for them.
"Good, now that's sorted, we need to get to class."
Willow smiled and led the way in, vowing to herself that she would apologize to Buffy the next time she saw her for blanking her in class.
Part 9
Willow walked to Buffy's classroom, hoping to see the blonde, but found it empty.
Sighing, she headed off to the library, hoping to borrow the English book she knew they were going to need for next months project.
"Hey Giles."
Giles gave her a tight smile in greeting.
"You okay? You seem a little stressed."
He shook his head, indicating that he was fine.
Willow shrugged went into the stacks to get her book.
She had been there for five minutes, when she heard Giles and Principal Wood talking.
"You can't suspend her. I have told you the truth of the matter."
"I have no choice Mr Giles. I have informed the school board of everything you and Miss Summers told me, but they need to follow procedure, and it seems Miss Evens has put in a complaint."
Willow had never heard Principal Wood sound so angry, he was usually a nice mannered man.
But now she knew Buffy wasn't okay, and that Faith had something to do with it.
"Buffy never touched the girl, not like that."
Willow's eyes widened.
"It was Faith that hit her, not the other way around."
Principal Wood sighed and pinched the top of his nose.
"Giles I know all this, so do the school board, but we have to follow procedure I'm afraid. Miss Summers will be suspended for two weeks while everything is investigated."
Willow gasped and tightened her grip on the book.
"Does she know?"
"Yes, I just got off the phone with her. The board will be sending out someone to speak with both you and Buffy. Just tell them everything you have told me."
Willow waited until their voices faded into the office before tearing out of the library and going to find Cordy who was at Cheerleading Practice.
She had to get over to Buffy's, and she needed to borrow Cordy's car.
Buffy stared at the bottle of wine in front of her, the unopened bottle.
She was never much of a drinker for two reasons.
The first being she usually made an idiot out of herself when she was drunk, the second was, it had been a drunk that had killed her parents, so she didn't have a good relationship with alcohol.
She was suspended for two weeks while the School board investigated Faith's claim of sexual harassment.
What the hell was she going to do for two week?
Opening the bottle, she poured herself a glass of wine and set it in front of her, not drinking it.
After she had called Lorne, she had called Anya, who was ready to come down and kill Faith.
She had asked Buffy if she wanted her to come down, but Buffy told her no, that she would be fine. She was starting to regret that decision now.
Even though the school board had Giles' account of what happened, they still needed to investigate it, which lead to Buffy being suspended for two weeks while they carried out their investigation.
She was expecting someone from the board to call, they had told her there would be a visit soon, so she jumped when she heard a knock at the door.
Standing, she made her way to it, seeing Willow through the glass. Sighing, she opened the door partway, but blocked the redhead from entering.
"You shouldn't be here."
Willow frowned and moved to enter the house, but Buffy's stance wouldn't allow her.
"I heard about what happened."
"I guess it's all over the school by now." Buffy snorted and kicked a little at the door.
"No, I overheard Giles and Principal Wood talking about it."
Buffy tightened her grip on the door.
"Then you know that you really shouldn't be here."
"Why?" Willow moved closed to the door, seeing Buffy tighten her grip on it.
Buffy gave a small laugh, though it wasn't a happy one.
"Why? Willow wake up! They are investigating claims of harassment, how's it going to look if someone saw you here?"
Willow hadn't thought of that.
"I just wanted to see if you were okay."
Buffy shook her head, about to tell her to just go home, when she saw a car enter her drive.
"Dammit!" Reaching out, she pulled Willow inside.
"You need to hide."
Willow's eyes widened.
"Huh?"
Buffy was pulling her through the house and along a hall.
"A car just pulled in, I don't know who it is, but I'm expecting the school board. I can't let them find you here."
Willow followed Buffy, well, more like Buffy pulled her alone the hall.
"But I can just tell them what's going on."
Buffy laughed and stopped at what looked like a blank wall.
"Yeah, because they will believe that."
Willow's eyes widened when Buffy opened a door that was practically invisible.
"A secret room?"
Buffy pulled Willow inside and flipped the lights.
"A lot of old houses had them. I turned mine into a game room. It's soundproofed so feel free to play."
Buffy turned and closed the door, leaving Willow in the room alone.
She had just closed the door, when the bell rang.
Willow sighed and ran her hand over the pool table before walking over to the pinball machine.
"Pac man."
Sighing, she started up the game, pouting when her little guy kept getting eaten.
"No fun."
Buffy offered the lady a drink and led her into the kitchen.
"If we could get right down to it, we know of Faith's problems, and we have Mr Giles account of what happened as we just interviewed him. Now, I am here for your account."
Buffy handed the lady her water and sat down, indicating that Mrs. Gibbs should as well.
Buffy started by telling her what had happened, leaving out none of it.
Taking a sip of her water, Mrs. Gibb gave the young woman a smile.
"I believe you Miss Summers. I've been in this job too long, I know when someone is being honest and when they are not."
Buffy let out a relieved breath.
"Call me Buffy."
The woman smiled, before it fell.
"I don't know how far Faith is willing to take this charade."
Buffy sighed and rubbed at her neck.
"Try far, like all the way."
The woman echoed Buffy's sigh and stood up.
"She is my next stop. Hopefully I can talk some sense into her."
"It wont matter though will it."
Mrs. Gibbs tilted her head to the side.
"I mean, it's bound to get out, small town like this and once it does, guilty or not, I doubt the parents of this town will be happy with me teaching their children."
Sighing, Mrs. Gibbs stood.
"I shall talk to Faith. See if we can't put this mess right."
Buffy gave her a small smile and walked her to the door.
"I'm sure that we will see each other again."
Buffy bid her goodbye and closed the door, resting against it before pushing away and moving back to the kitchen, forgetting that Willow was in the game room.
Part 10
Willow looked at her watch, she had been in the game's room for over an hour.
Taking a chance, she opened the door and peaked through it. Not being able to hear anything, she ventured out and moved slowly along the hall, looking for Buffy.
Finally after searching the entire lower floor, she looked upstairs.
Hesitating, she started up them.
At the top, she frowned, not sure where to go. Shrugging, she picked the right side and began searching the rooms for Buffy, wondering why one person needed so much space.
After finding nothing on the right side of the house, she moved to the left.
Finally, she heard sounds of life and followed it.
She blushed when she realized she was in Buffy's bedroom. Seeing the opened door, and praying to god it wasn't the bathroom, she ventured in.
When she saw Buffy standing in front of a canvass, wearing tiny shorts and a tank top, covered in paint, she gulped.
"Hey."
Buffy jumped and dropped her paint brush before spinning around.
When she saw Willow, her eyes widened.
"God I'm sorry, I forgot you were here, and when Mrs. Gibbs left, all I wanted to do was to mind off things, and this is what I do when I want to take my mind off of things."
Willow half smiled and looked over the room. It was large, and filled with paintings.
"These are really good."
Buffy smiled and turned back to her paints, picking up her dropped brush and washing the paint off it so it wouldn't dry out.
"Thank you."
Willow wondered around the room, looking over each painting.
"So, what did she say?"
Buffy looked up from her place on the floor as she was tiding her mess up.
"Mrs. Gibbs?"
Willow nodded and stopped by a painting of a man and woman, their faces the picture of happiness.
Buffy saw where she had stopped and looked away.
"She told me she believed me, and that she was going to try and talk to Faith."
Willow turned, a smile of her face.
"That's excellent."
Buffy half smiled and finished what she was doing when Willow turned back to the painting.
Looking over the woman, Willow gasped when she saw the same hazel eyes that belonged to Buffy.
Looking at the man, she could see his daughter in him so clearly, and her heart went out to the blonde.
"They looked happy."
Buffy came to stand beside her and reached out to touch her mothers smiling face.
"They were. I painted it from a photograph. This was the day they found out my mom was expecting me."
Willow turned to see tears in Buffy's eyes.
Reaching out, she rested her hand on the blonde shoulder, not knowing what to say.
"What age were you when you painted it?"
Buffy smiled and pictured the look on her Grandmothers face when she had first saw it.
"I was fourteen."
Willow's eyes widened.
Buffy snapped out of it and turned to Willow.
"You should really go home."
Willow nodded her head, but made no move to do so.
Not able to stop herself, her hand reached out and brushed some hair off Buffy's face.
Buffy's eyes closed at the soft touch and she turned her head, pressing her face into Willow's palm.
"Really…you should go."
Willow unconsciously stoked Buffy's cheekbone, causing the blonde to shiver.
"Should…go."
They drifted closed, and before Buffy knew it, she found out that Willow's lips were as soft as she thought they would be.
Willow groaned, it went beyond anything she imagined her first real kiss to be, and the loss of it caused her to whimper.
They both stared wide eyed at the other before Willow swooped back in, wanting another taste of Buffy's lips.
When Buffy felt Willow's tongue tenderly stroking her lower lips, she gasped, her mouth opening for the redhead's tongue.
If Willow thought the kiss before was mind-blowing, she was wrong, this surpassed that.
Their tongue met and tangled like they had done so for years.
Buffy reached up, threading a hand through Willow's hair and pulled the redhead closer, moaning when their bodies touched.
When she felt Willow's hand stroking her back, Buffy arched, bringing them closer.
It wasn't until she felt that hand slide down a little to rest at the top of her ass, that she pulled back, her eyes widening when she realized what they were doing, what she was doing.
"Oh God." Buffy's hand rose to her mouth as she backed away from Willow.
Willow reached out to pull her back, but Buffy kept backing away.
"Buffy…"
Buffy shook her head to clear it from the lust that was rushing through her.
"Go…please, just…go."
Willow's face showed her hurt, but she pushed past Buffy and bolted out of the room, down the stairs and out the front door.
Buffy stood frozen to the spot, even as she heard the front door slam closed.
"Oh god."
'she's a good kisser' was playing at the back of her mind.
Tears blurred Willow's vision as she drove through Sunnydale.
She had made a fool out of herself. She had thought Buffy wanted the kiss, she had sure reacted to it, so why had she stopped?
Willow wiped at her eyes, but the tears kept coming.
She was so embarrassed. How was she supposed to face Buffy at school?
As she reached up to wipe her tears away again, Willow didn't see the truck coming towards her.
She felt it though when it crashed into the passenger side of Cordy's car.
Her head bounced off the airbag and hit the back of the seat, catching on the seatbelt hook. The last thing she felt before darkness took her, was blood running down from her temple, and a sharp pain in her head.
Buffy paced for a full five minutes after Willow left, knowing she had handled things very badly.
Grabbing a pair so sweats, she pulled them on and grabbed her sneakers and her car keys.
Pulling out of her drive, she went in the direction Willow would have had to go in, hoping to catch up with the girl and explain things to her.
Pushing the peddle on her car, she sped up, hoping that there were no cops near her.
Finally, she spotted Cordy's car up ahead and sped up a little.
Buffy watched as if in slow motion as a truck came barreling through a cross section, and her heart was in her throat when it smashed into the car Willow was driving.
When Buffy was aware of sound again, she heard screaming, it took a second for her to realize it was her.
Speeding up, she stopped her car and jumped out, running straight to Willow's side.
When she saw the blood, Buffy panicked.
Running back to her car, she grabbed her cell and dialed 911.
Willow woke up in pain and cried out. When she felt someone take her hand, she opened her eyes to see her mom and dad.
"W…he..r…"
Willow's mother stroked the hair back from her face, avoiding the bandage around her daughters head.
"Schuss honey, don't talk. Your in the hospital, your going to be fine."
Willow sighed as darkness took her again, never seeing the third person in the room.
Buffy wiped the tears from her eyes and turned to Willow's parents.
"I'm gonna go and give Xander a ring."
They nodded and turned back to their daughter, fighting their own tears.
"Thank you. I'm glad my daughter has such good friends."
Buffy swallowed her guilt and left the room after taking one more look at Willow.
Walking down to the pay phones, Buffy tried to remember the number Anya had given her for Xander, but she couldn't.
Picking up the phone, she dialed the school and asked to speak to Giles.
"Giles it's Buffy…their was an accident…no I'm fine, it was Willow…could you get Xander Harris down to the hospital, her parents are with her now, but I know he would want to be…car accident…the doctors think she'll be fine…okay, thank you Giles."
Buffy hung up and sank into one of the hard plastic hospital chairs.
Putting her head in her head, she let the tears fall again.
'this is all my fault'
Part 11
Xander rushed into the waiting room and fell to his knees at Buffy's feet.
"What happened? Is she okay?"
Buffy looked up and met his eyes for a moment.
"Car accident. The doctors say she'll be fine. She's in Room 214. Her parents are with her, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind you going in."
He nodded his head and stood up as Giles took a seat by Buffy.
Buffy watched as he ran down the corridor to Willow's room.
"Are you okay?" Giles was looking at her, and Buffy could feel the tears start again.
Xander gasped when he saw his best friend lying in the hospital bed, a bandage covering the top half of her head.
"Oh God."
Willow's parents turned and gave him a small smile.
"It looks worse that it is Xander. Why don't you come a sit with her? We'll leave you to it."
He nodded his head and looked at Willow's mom.
"You don't have to leave."
She smiled and reached out to stroke his hair.
"We're not leaving, we're just going to get some coffee. Look after our baby."
He nodded his head and took the seat Mrs. Rosenberg had rose from, and took Willow's hand into his own.
Almost as if she knew he was there, her eyes opened again.
"Will." Xander leant forward and placed a small kiss on her cheek.
"God Willow, you had me worried."
Willow tried to give him a small smiled, but she winced.
"Is Cordy mad about her car?"
Buffy looked up when she saw two feet appear in front of her.
Seeing Xander's angry face, she knew he must had found out what happened, which meant Willow was awake again.
"She wants to see you, don't ask me why."
He turned from her, knowing he was being unfair, but not being able to help it after seeing Willow looking so weak.
Buffy slowly stood and walked towards Willow's room, her head bowed.
Willow looked up when Buffy came in, but didn't say anything.
Buffy looked at her, lying on the bed, and wished that things had gone different.
"Hi."
Willow didn't say anything, and Buffy looked down, wondering what to do next.
Seeing the seat, she took a step towards it, before looking up again.
"Is it okay if I sit down?"
Willow went to nod her head, but thought better of it.
"Yes."
Buffy sat, and wanted nothing more than to pick up Willow's hand.
"How are you feeling?"
"Like I've been hit by a truck, you?"
Buffy flinched and looked away, not seeing Willow's eyes soften.
"Thank you."
Startled, Buffy turned her head.
"Huh?"
Willow gave that half smile Buffy loved to see.
"The way I hear it, you saved my life."
Buffy snorted and looked down again.
"This is all my fault. If I'd of handled things better, you wouldn't be lying here."
Willow reached over and took Buffy's hand, smiling when the blond let her and returned her hold.
"My mom told me what happened, but I fell asleep again. Xander told me you were still here."
Buffy nodded her head, though there was no need to.
"I wanted to make sure you'd be okay."
Willow smiled and tightened her grip on Buffy's hand for a moment.
"I'm sorry about before." Buffy jumped right in. She had practiced what she wanted to say in the waiting room.
"I reacted badly. I don't want you to think that I didn't want it, or like it…the kiss I mean…but-"
"Buffy," Willow cut her off when it looked like she was starting to babble. "You aren't the only one who reacted badly."
Buffy half smiled.
"So, you wanted it?"
Buffy looked up and met Willow's gaze, knowing she owed it to the girl to be honest.
"For a while now, but it's-"
"Complicated. I know."
Buffy snorted.
"Understatement."
Neither spoke for a moment or two.
"So, what happens now?" Willow asked quietly.
Buffy looked up and met her eyes.
"We can't…it doesn't matter what we feel…us being together right now…it's wrong…I'm your teacher…plus your only seventeen."
Willow nodded her head, she knew all that.
Stroking the hand she held in her own, Willow watched as Buffy's eyes seemed drawn to her lips.
Half smiling, she tugged a little on the blonde's hand.
"This can't ever happen…"
Willow nodded, knowing Buffy was right.
Buffy's head moved closer, her eyes flickering from Willow's eyes to her mouth.
After a long moment, their lips met again.
Buffy kept the kiss light, not wanting to jostle Willow about.
At some point, she felt tears in her eyes, knowing this was the last time they could do this.
Stroking her tongue over Willow's lips, Buffy begged for entry.
When Willow opened up, she swept in and soon the two were lost in the kiss.
Lifting a hand, Willow cupped Buffy's cheek and felt wetness there.
Kissing the blonde harder, they finally drew apart.
Each knew it couldn't happen again.
Buffy placed a soft kiss on Willow's cheek and stood up.
"I should go. I'll send Xander back in."
After taking on last look at the girl in the bed, Buffy turned to leave.
"Buffy."
Turning, she met Willow's eyes, seeing her own feelings reflected back at her.
"I know Willow. I'll see you in school."
Turning, she left the room.
Willow's eyes closed and she sighed.
When she opened them again, Xander was there.
Part 12
Buffy made her way into the school building. It was her first day back after her two week suspension.
Faith had finally cracked and confessed what really happened, and also admitted to having a drug problem.
It was Buffy who finally frog marched her to LA and got her checked into a clinic, no expenses spared.
She had been wrong about the town. While some parents were wary about the supposed harassment claim, the majority were believing when Faith owned up. A small number claimed there was no smoke without fire.
The blonde had a skip in her step today. Not only was she back at work, but Willow was also back at school today after having to take two weeks off to recover from the accident.
Buffy hadn't seen her since she left the hospital that day, and she found herself missing the bubbly redhead.
When she opened her classroom door, there was a bunch of flowers on her desk, as well as a box of chocolates.
Smiling, she opened the card on the flowers.
"Dear Miss Summers,
Thank God you are back, because there is only so much of Mr Snyder we can take.
Class A"
Buffy laughed and lifted the flowers before walking over to the sink and rooting around under it.
Finally she found a vase she used for storing paint brushes, and emptied it before cleaning it out and putting the flowers in it.
Opening the box of chocolates, she set them on her desk and watched as Class A filed in.
When she saw Willow, she smiled. The redhead had made a fully recovery, and the truck driver had been arrested for dangerous driving so everything was fine.
Willow looked up when she felt eyes on her and met Buffy's.
Giving her a small smile, she took her seat and soon she had three of four people around her asking if she was okay.
Buffy smiled and let the class mingled for a few moments before clapping her hands.
Once they had all taken their seats, she lifted the chocolates and took one out before handing the box to Xander.
"Would you please pass them around?"
He looked at her and sent her a small smile, hoping that she got that he wasn't upset with her anymore. Both Willow and Anya had chewed him out over his treatment of her in the hospital.
Buffy smiled, relieved things were back to normal.
"Thank you all for the flowers and chocolates."
When Willow got home from school that Friday, she knew it was now or never. She had to have a talk with her parents.
The talk.
"Mom, dad, can I talk to you guys for a minute?"
They both stood up from their respective office corners in the den and followed Willow into the kitchen where they all sat at the kitchen island.
"What is it sweetie?"
Ever since the accident, Willow's parents had shown more affection towards her, not that they hadn't before, but they seemed to double up on it now.
Willow smiled and stood up again to pace.
"I need to tell you something, and I'm not sure how you are going to react, so please just hear me out okay?"
They both nodded and she took a deep breath.
"Well…lately I've been…you see the thing is…what I mean to say is…"
"Willow, whatever it is can't be that bad."
Willow took a deep breath and counted to ten before just blurting it out.
"I'm gay."
Willow smiled as she left for the Bronze. Her parents had taken that well.
Anya was coming down this weekend, so she was going to be meeting them at the Bronze at nine.
Willow wondered if Buffy was going to show up.
Buffy groaned as she let the warm water relax her.
When her bathroom door opened, she shrieked until she saw Anya standing there.
"God Anya, next time knock okay, you near gave me a heart attack."
Anya smiled and sat on the toilet seat.
"I'm going to meet Xander at the Bronze in an hour, are you going to come?"
Buffy shook her head no and played with the bubbles in her bath.
"I can't."
Anya frowned and stood up, throwing a towel which Buffy caught.
"For the love of God, it's not like you were in love with her. Get your ass out of that bath and get it dressed. We are going dancing."
Anya marched out of the room and sat on Buffy's bed, waiting for her to do as she had been told.
She never saw the pained look on Buffy's face.
Xander spotted Anya as soon as she walked into the club.
When he saw the blonde following her, he frowned. Then he saw what Buffy was wearing and his mouth dropped open.
Willow looked over to see what had him gaping like a fish, and found herself copying him.
Buffy was dressed in blood red leather pants, a see through black silk shirt, complete with a white sting top under it and her black leather jacket.
To say that she looked sexy was an understatement.
Shrugging out of the warm coat in the hot club, Buffy pointed to the bar, letting Anya know she was on drink duty.
Anya nodded, took Buffy's coat for her and made her way over to her boyfriend, hoping they could get away early so she could get orgasms.
She hadn't told either of them yet, Xander or Buffy, but she had bought a house in Sunnydale, and was moving the business down as well.
She missed Buffy through the week, and missed being able to be with Xander when she wanted to.
All thought cut off however the moment his lips found hers.
Buffy was waiting in line to order her drinks, when she felt a tap at her shoulder.
"Can I buy you one?"
Shaking her head at the guy, Buffy smiled and turned away again, but that didn't stop him.
"I'm Riley by the way."
Groaning, Buffy turned to face him.
"Look, I don't mean to sound rude, but I'm not in the mood right now, so why do I save you the trouble. I'm gay."
He blinked, and like that he was gone.
Smiling she turned back to the bar to find that it was her turn to order.
"Two classes of white wine and three cokes please."
"ID"
Buffy giggled and pulled out her I.D. She loved it when that happened.
"Any particular wine?"
She shrugged and felt someone at her back.
"Something sweet."
He nodded, and Buffy turned to see who was behind her.
"Hey Willow."
Willow smirked, yes smirked, and Buffy had a hard time keeping herself from drooling.
"Hey Buff."
Buffy ducked her head and made a show of getting the money out of her purse.
"I ordered you, Xander and Cordy a coke, but you can change it if you want."
"Oh I so want." Willow's eyes widened when she realized she said that out loud.
Seeing the lust in Buffy's eyes, she took a deep breath and stepped back a little.
"I mean, coke's fine."
Buffy paid for the drinks and grabbed the tray, letting Willow lead the way back to the table.
Part 13
Willow had a hard time keeping her eyes to herself. She found them straying every so often over in Buffy's direction.
'I never knew someone could look so good in leather' Willow thought as she once again stared at Buffy.
This time though, Buffy caught her staring and blushed.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Buffy stood up and made her way to the girls toilets, not knowing that Willow was following.
When she was grabbed from behind, she spun, ready to defend herself, when she was pushed into the nearest stall and against the door, Willow's mouth firmly fixed to her own.
Willow didn't know where this boldness was coming from, whether it was from watching Buffy all night, or from those two glasses of wine Anya had sneaked her when Buffy wasn't looking. The one thing she did know, was she wanted Buffy.
Buffy groaned as Willow sucked on her tongue, knowing she should stop what was happening, but not being able to.
When Buffy sucked on Willow's tongue in return, she could taste the wine.
Pulling back, she attempted to talk to the redhead, but Willow moved her lips along Buffy's jaw and down to suck at her neck.
"Oh God…"
Willow grinned against Buffy's skin and thanked god for all those girlie chats Cordy insisted on having.
Becoming braver, she reached up and palmed Buffy's breast, groaning when she discovered Buffy wasn't wearing a bra.
"Will…"
Buffy's head hit the door when Willow pinched her nipple.
Her back arched, offering more of her chest to the redhead.
Willow's hand, that was currently resting on Buffy's hip, moved up and under Buffy's shirt to touch the soft skin beneath.
Not getting any negative responses from Buffy, Willow moved her hand higher until she had Buffy's bare nipple between two fingers.
The moan she got from the blonde made her smile.
Buffy's hips started moving of their own accord, her lower body needing friction.
Willow pushed against her harder and slipped a leg between both of Buffy's.
Buffy groaned, and Willow captured her mouth again in a kiss.
As Willow was pressing against her, Buffy sucked on her tongue, once again tasting the wine.
Panting, she pulled back and found the energy to push Willow away, groaning when it resulted on Willow pulling her nipple hard.
"Oh God…Willow…we can't do this…"
Willow pushed back in, taking Buffy's mouth again.
"Sure we can."
Before she could get lost in the redhead's kiss, Buff pulled back and opened the stall door, putting some space between them and praying that no-one came in.
"Willow, when did you have wine?"
Willow giggled, confirming Buffy's suspicion that she was drunk.
"About ten minutes ago."
Buffy took a deep breath, and was about to ask her where she got it, when she knew.
"Anya."
Buffy was about o leave, and go kill Anya, when she saw Willow just standing there, a hurt look now on her face and she remembered when she had seen it before.
Trusting herself to walk closer, Buffy reached up and cupped Willow's cheek.
"We will talk about this when you are sober, okay?" leaning in, she placed a chaste kiss on Willow's lips, knowing she shouldn't.
Willow smiled and followed Buffy, and before they could get out of the bathroom, she ran a hand over the blondes ass.
Buffy moaned before turning and taking hold of Willow's hand, wishing with everything that was in her that she could just say to hell with it.
"Willow please, you can't do that."
Willow blinked a few times before she nodded her head.
"Right, look but don't touch."
Buffy gave her a small smile and again led her from the room back to the table, where she grabbed Anya and dragged her away.
"What the hell did you think you were doing?" Buffy hissed out, making sure to keep her voice low.
Anya frowned.
"Huh?"
"Giving Willow alcohol!" Buffy looked around to make sure no-one was listening.
"Oh, that, I figured she'd be fine."
'you have no idea'
Buffy shook her head to get rid of those thoughts before glaring at her best friend.
"Just please, don't give her anymore."
Anya looked back and forth between Buffy and the table, seeing Willow watching them like a hawk and putting two and two together.
"She followed you didn't she?"
Buffy nodded her head.
Anya guessed what had happened and smiled at Buffy.
"I promise I wont give her anymore."
Buffy smiled, relieved and disappointed at the same time.
Willow glared at Anya when they got back to the table. She could still remember that sex remark Xander made, and was starting to wonder in her alcohol induced haze if it was true.
Buffy reached over under the table and squeezed her knee.
Just like that, Willow's glare melted and she smiled at Buffy.
Buffy squeezed Willow's knee one last time before she removed her hand.
Standing up, she went to the bar to order another round of drinks, getting herself a water this time, and substituted Willow's coke with water as well.
Willow followed her with her eyes, her mind throwing up a picture of Buffy's face when she had stroked her nipples.
Willow groaned silently as she shifted in her seat. She knew that when she sobered up, she was going to be embarrassed by her behavior, but until then, she was enjoying the buzz, and figured she would get away with what she had done.
It was 1am when they left the club.
Xander made sure Anya didn't fall as they headed to his car, and Buffy did the same to Willow, shouting to Xander that she would make sure the redhead got home okay.
Willow smiled to herself. She had sobered up around midnight, but she had a plan, and she figured that if she made a fool out of herself, she could blame it on the drink.
As soon as Xander and Anya were out of sight, Willow did a quick look around to make sure there was no-one near, before reaching out and stroking Buffy's ass, just as she did in the club.
Buffy sighed, wanting nothing more than to fall into Willow.
"Come on Willow, in you go."
Willow got into the car with no fuss, confusing the blonde.
Buffy shrugged, just wanting to get Willow home without any more incidents.
As soon as she had her seat belt on though, Buffy knew it wasn't going to be easy.
Willow's hand sneaked over and rested on Buffy's thigh.
The blonde tried to ignore the feelings it was causing, and started the car, hoping Willow would stop.
No such luck.
Gently, Willow began squeezing the muscle under her hand, wishing the leather was skin,
Buffy jumped when Willow's hand started to rise, and as much as she wanted her to continue, Buffy knew she had to stop her.
Gently, she removed one hand from the steering wheel and lifted Willow's from her thigh.
"Stop."
Sighing, Willow stared out the window before an idea came to her.
Slowly, Willow began stroking her own stomach, seeing Buffy glance at her out of the corner of her eye.
"What are you doing?"
Willow smiled, and Buffy's eyes widened when the redhead reached up and cupped her own breast.
The car sped up before Buffy got it under control and averted her eyes.
'she's drunk, you can't do anything' she kept repeating it in her head, hoping it would finally sink in.
When she heard Willow moan, Buffy's grip on the steering wheel tightened.
"Willow please…" She didn't know what she was begging for, but she begged anyway.
Willow was glad Buffy thought she was drunk, she never would have been able to do what she was doing otherwise.
Calling Buffy's name, she waited until the blonde looked at her, before sliding one hand down, playing with the hem of her skirt before sliding her fingers under it.
Loving the look of lust in Buffy's eyes, Willow's hand moved higher.
Buffy averted her eyes yet again, and didn't realize as she slowed her car down until it was crawling at only 5mph.
Willow's hand by now, was high on her own thigh, giving Buffy a good show of leg.
She was clouded by lust, knowing she should stop Willow, but not having the will power to do so.
"Buffy…touch me…" Willow groaned out, even as her own finger stroked herself over her panties.
Buffy shook her head no.
"Can't dammit."
Willow groaned in lust and Buffy's eyes rested on the movement she could see under Willow's skirt.
"Please…"
Reaching out, Buffy nearly touched the leg before her before she jerked her hand back and stopped the car before jumping out.
Thanking god that they had stopped on a side road, Buffy paced behind the car, trying to get control of her hormones.
She had almost given in and touched Willow, who was drunk out of her mind. What kind of person did that make her? It would have been different if they had been dating, but they weren't.
'mores the pity'
Willow sighed as Buffy slammed the car door, and could see her pacing in the mirror.
Taking her hand away from her body, Willow blushed as she realized just what she had been about to do.
Thank god she had the excuse of alcohol to cover for her.
Buffy groaned when she heard Willow get out of the car and come up behind her.
"Please, just stay where you are." Buffy begged, knowing if Willow came closer, that she would give in.
Willow stopped and tilted her head to the side.
"What's wrong?"
Buffy laughed and turned to look at Willow.
"Your Drunk, that's what's wrong."
'god, she's beating herself up over this'
Willow suddenly felt guilty for trying to manipulate Buffy.
"I'm not."
Buffy's eyes widened.
"What do you mean your not?" Each word was spoken clearly.
Willow sighed. 'there goes my cover'
"Look, just take my word for it. I sobered up around twelve."
Seeing the look on Buffy's face, Willow turned back to the car.
"Can you just take me home?" The question was barely out of her mouth before self felt herself spun around and pressed against it.
Seeing the look of lust come back into Buffy's eyes, Willow gulped.
"So, you were sober, when you touched yourself?"
Willow blushed, and nodded her head.
Buffy couldn't stop herself from leaning in and kissing Willow hard before pulling back.
"God, this is so wrong, but I want you." As soon as 'you' was out of her mouth, Buffy was pressed back into Willow, their mouths joined in a heated kiss.
Willow's eyes widened. She was finally getting what she wanted.
Before she knew it, Buffy had a handful of Willow's breast.
Moaning, Willow arched into Buffy, before pulling back.
"There's a car coming."
Buffy groaned and pulled Willow back with her into the woods.
Willow followed without another thought.
They both knew it was wrong, hell, it was illegal, but they couldn't help it.
As Buffy's back hit the ground and Willow straddled her, only one thought was going through their heads.
'need skin now'
Part 14
Buffy rolled over and wrapped an arm around Willow.
"We should really get going."
Willow nodded her head and shifted, resting her head on Buffy's breast.
"I like it here though,"
Buffy smiled and ran her fingers through Willow's hair.
"And I like you there, but I would like you more in a nice, soft, comfy bed." Buffy punctuated each word with a kiss.
Willow groaned before sitting up and grabbing her shirt.
"Lets go then."
Buffy groaned when Willow covered her naked breasts, and then again when she bent over to pick up her pants.
Willow turned her head to look at Buffy over her shoulder.
"I guess it's a good thing my parents left tonight for England."
Buffy nodded her head, a big smile on her face.
"A very good thing."
By the time they reached Buffy's bedroom, they were both naked again.
Straddling Willow, Buffy reached for her hands and stretched the redheads arms up above her head before pressing them there.
"Don't move."
Willow gulped and Buffy began kissing down her body, paying attention to her breasts before moving on.
Losing her virginity in the woods hadn't been on Willow's top ten list of things to do, but she wouldn't have traded it for the world.
Stopping briefly to flick her tongue into Willow's belly button, Buffy moved on, blowing warm air over Willow's clit.
When the redhead arched up, Buffy smiled before giving it a small kiss.
"Buffy…" Buffy knew Willow had never done this before, hell, up until two hours ago, Willow was a virgin.
Running her tongue around Willow's clit a few times, Buffy watched as it pulsed, before moving her tongue down and entering Willow.
Groaning at the feeling of Willow's muscles squeezing her, Buffy reached up and massaged Willow's thighs.
"God, you taste…" she hadn't done this in the woods, they had been in too much of a hurry.
Willow groaned and reached down with one hand, pulling Buffy's head in tight against her. She had never felt so much pleasure running through her.
Grinning, Buffy reached up and used one finger to enter Willow, stopping at one knowing the redhead would be too sore for anymore than that.
Moving her mouth up, she took the pulsing clit and nursed it with her tongue.
It didn't take long before Willow was shaking in orgasm.
"Ugh, Buffy…"
Buffy slowed her thrusting and eased off of Willow's clit. Moving her tongue down, she scooped it into Willow's body and captured all of Willow release.
When she was done, she crawled up Willow's body and waited for her to come down off her high.
"Hey there."
Willow blinked up at the face above her before smiling and reaching up.
"C'mere."
Buffy grinned as Willow pulled her down for a kiss.
While Buffy was preoccupied with the kiss, Willow trailed a hand down her side and around to cup her sex.
Buffy groaned and pressed against the hand at her core.
"Please…"
Willow grinned and pulled her face back, wanting to watch Buffy's eyes as she entered her.
Buffy groaned and thrust her hips down when Willow entered her with two fingers.
"Yeah…like that…" Buffy rotated her hips to get Willow's fingers in deeper.
Willow smiled and thrust deeper, knowing what Buffy wanted.
Eyes widening, Willow thrust another finger inside her lover, watching as her face contorted in pleasure.
Using her thumb, Willow circled Buffy's clit, watching as the blondes mouth fell open and her back arched.
It only took a minute before Buffy came, groaning out Willow's name as she thrust her hips up and down, riding Willow's fingers.
As she came down from her high, Buffy nuzzled her face into Willow's neck, placing a small kiss on her pulse.
Rolling to her side, she wrapped an arm around the redhead and pulled her close.
They were both sleeping in minutes.
Buffy wasn't sure what woke her, but as she woke up, she realized that she had a body wrapped around her.
As the memories from the night before came back to her, a smile tugged at her lips, before she frowned.
'shit'
She had slept with Willow, her student, her underage student.
Pulling the girl tighter against Buffy closed her eyes and sighed.
'what the hell are we going to do now?'
When Willow woke up the next morning, she smiled and snuggled against the body behind her.
Thanking god that she didn't have a hangover, she turned around and looked at Buffy's sleeping face.
When it hit her what they had done, her eyes widened.
What was going to happen now?
"Morning."
Willow focused and found Buffy staring at her through sleep filled eyes.
"Morning."
Leaning up, she placed a soft kiss on Buffy's lips before pulling back again.
Buffy watched as a blush came over Willow.
"Mmm, wonder how far that goes."
Blushing even harder at Buffy's words, Willow snuggled in against her.
"Shut up."
Grinning, Buffy rolled over until Willow was on top of her.
"How are you feeling?"
Willow leaned down and kissed Buffy's chin.
"Happy…blissful…scared."
Buffy frowned and pulled Willow tighter against her body.
"Scared?"
Willow moved until they were face to face.
"What do we do now?"
Buffy sighed,
"I don't know, but we'll figure something out."
Willow sighed and snuggled back into Buffy's arms.
"Do you regret what happened?"
When Buffy didn't answer, Willow stiffened.
Finally after a minute of silence, Buffy spoke.
"No, no matter what happens, I don't regret making love to you."
Willow smiled.
"Me too…I mean I don't regret it either."
Buffy smiled.
"Your cute when you babble."
Willow huffed and sat up, the sheet falling to expose her breast.
"Just when I babble?"
Buffy got a predatory look on her face before she pounced, tumbling Willow back on the bed.
"All the time."
Leaning down, she kissed Willow and slipped a leg between the redheads.
"Mmm, I like how you think." Willow groaned as Buffy began rotating her hips, pressing herself closer to Willow.
Grinning, Buffy leaned down, taking a nipple between her teeth.
Willow's back bowed off the bed and her hands went to Buffy's head to hold her in place.
Between the added stimulation of Buffy's teeth on her nipple, and her thigh thrusting into her body, Willow came, Buffy's name falling from her lips.
Buffy followed her soon after, groaning as she went over the edge.
Willow sighed and let the pleasure run through her body.
Buffy rolled over and pulled Willow to her.
"Now I know what all the fuss was about."
Buffy started laughing before seeing the hurt look on Willow's face.
"Sorry, it's just…I wasn't laughing at you, honest baby."
Willow melted at that.
"Baby?"
Buffy blushed a little before grinning.
"How about I make us breakfast? Anything you want…well within reason."
"Anything?" Willow rolled over so she was back on top.
Buffy groaned and reached up, pulling her lover tighter to her.
"Insatiable."
Willow grinned down at her and palmed a breast.
"Are you complaining?"
Shaking her head no, Buffy reached up to accept the kiss waiting of Willow's lips.
"Not at all."
Part 15
Both Buffy and Willow's heads snapped towards the door when it opened.
Anya stood opened mouthed as she took in the scene before her.
Buffy pulled the sheet, covering them both before turning a glare on her friend.
"What have I told you about knocking?"
Anya took in the flushed faces, and backed away.
"Buffy, when your finished…" she trailed off knowing Buffy would know what she wanted.
Buffy and Willow looked at each other, before they both burst out laughing.
"Be happy she didn't use more words." Buffy went to get up, when Willow pulled her back.
"I think you were in the middle of something…"
Willow wiggled her hips, feeling Buffy's fingers shift inside her.
Buffy grinned before reaching up and taking a nipple into her mouth.
Willow groaned and arched her back, wanting more.
Seeing the need on her lover's face, Buffy contemplated stopping to get the nipple clamps she owned out of her drawer, but then Willow was thrusting faster, and she figured she could leave it for another time.
As the last of her orgasm washed through her, Willow sighed before falling down beside Buffy.
Buffy really wanted nothing more than to continue, but she had to go talk to Anya.
Sighing, she shifted Willow and slipped out of bed.
Willow bent her arm and rested her head on her hand as she watched Buffy walk naked over to her robe.
Slipping into the woolen robe, Buffy walked over to her drawers and picked out a pair of Pjs for Willow.
"Come on, get up."
Willow grumbled but threw back the covers, enjoying the moan Buffy gave.
"I need to go talk to Anya. Meet me in the kitchen?"
Willow smiled and nodded, taking the kiss Buffy offered before watching the blonde leave the room.
Anya was pacing the living room when Buffy found her.
"Are you out of your mind!?"
Buffy cringed. Anya could make her voice really high when she wanted to.
"Please keep you voice down."
Anya glared at her and stalked over before grabbing her arm and pulling her to the couch, which she pushed her onto, and stood before her.
"You realize you could go to jail for what you did? Hell, you will loose your job, you know, the one where you're a teacher? The one thing you've always wanted to be?"
Buffy nodded her head and fiddled with her belt loop.
Neither of them saw Willow back away from the door.
"Buffy…How could you? She was drunk last night!"
Buffy stood up, not liking what Anya was insinuating.
"Do you honestly think I would have taken advantage of her if she was drunk?"
"No, I didn't think so, not last night. This morning I'm a little fuzzy."
Buffy stepped back from her.
"You honestly think I could do that? To Willow?"
Anya shrugged. She had seen the state Willow was in when they left the club.
Buffy turned her back on her best friend and felt the tears come.
"Buffy…" Anya moved closer and rested a hand on Buffy's shoulder.
Buffy stiffened before shrugging it off and moved away from her.
"I'm going to make Will breakfast. You…do what you like." Buffy left the room and saw Willow already standing by the cooker.
"Hey." Willow turned at the sound of Buffy's voice. When she saw her face, her resolve almost went out the window.
"What's wrong?"
Buffy tensed when she heard Anya come in behind her.
"What? You don't trust me not to take advantage of her over breakfast?"
Willow's eyes widened before they turned to Anya.
"You said that to her?"
Anya frowned.
"Willow, I saw how drunk you were last night."
Willow paled as she realized the results of her actions the night before.
"I wasn't as drunk as I made out to be. By the time anything happened…I was completely sober."
Anya's gaze shot to Buffy, who still wouldn't look at her.
"Buffy…"
"Anya, please, just leave me alone yeah?"
Sighing, she left the room and headed to her own bedroom to wake Xander.
Buffy reached out a hand, frowning when Willow stepped back and wrapped her arms around herself instead.
'what the hell?…'
"Will?"
Looking up to the ceiling as if she was looking to the heavens, Willow forced her resolve to harden.
Because of her, Buffy was fighting with her best friend. Because of her, she could go to jail, and because of her, she would lose her job if anyone found out – which they probably would.
She remembered the song, Buffy's face lighting up as she told her why she wanted to be a teacher in the first place.
Reaching behind her, she turned the cooker off and forced herself to meet Buffy's eyes.
"You shouldn't fall out with Anya over a fling."
Buffy frowned, taking a step forward.
"A fling?"
Willow took a matching step back.
"Yeah, a fling. What did you expect it to be?" Willow had no clue she was such a good actress.
Buffy closed her eyes as old insecurities came back to haunt her.
"Willow…"
Willow forced herself to roll her eyes and turn away from the pain she could see in Buffy's when she opened them again.
She had to do this.
"I mean, come on…it was never going to be anything more than a one night stand…I'm only seventeen, I have my whole life ahead of me," Willow took a deep breath, needing to make it so Buffy wouldn't want her anymore, and she knew just where to hit her.
"Or was that it? Did you like the fact that I was seventeen? That up until last night I was a-"
"Shut up."
Willow's jaw snapped shut at the tone of Buffy's voice, before she forced herself to smirk.
"Oh, and the teacher comes out swinging."
Sighing, she turned from Buffy and made her feet move her to the door.
"But thanks…for last night…"
Before Willow could go any further than the hallway, she ran into Xander, who did not look happy.
"Willow, get back into that kitchen and tell her why you just lied to her."
Tears came to her eyes.
"I can't Xand. it's easier this way."
He lowered his voice and softened his expression.
"Anya told me everything. Just trust me Will, I know more about Buffy's past than you right now. If you don't go in there now and convince her you were lying, your never going to get her back."
Willow looked between him and the kitchen doorway.
"She could lose her job Xander. She's always wanted to be a teacher."
He stroked her face and turned her around.
"Give her the choice."
They both jumped when they heard glass shatter.
Buffy stood, staring out the kitchen window, watching as a breeze made the pool water ripple.
She didn't notice the tears falling thick and fast, all she knew, all she could hear, was Willow telling her last night meant nothing to her.
Picking up the closest thing to her, Buffy hurled it at the wall.
She was such a fool. Gwen was right, she wasn't the long-haul girl for anyone.
She looked up when two bodies collide with the door in a haste to get into the kitchen and wiped at her tears.
"Get dressed, and get out." Her voice was hollow, like her. She hadn't realized how much she care about Willow…how much she loved her, until the moment she broke her heart.
Willow flinched and pushed Xander out of the room before closing the door.
"I-"
"I said, get out." Buffy turned her back, not wanting to hear anything Willow had to say.
'and it had started as a brilliant day'
"Buffy please, I'm sorry I didn't mean-"
"To what? Fuck me all night? Was in only supposed to be that one time? Sorry I ruined you plans now get the Hell out." Buffy whirled around to face her, not caring that a piece of glass cut into her baby toe.
Willow edged closer, careful of the glass and stopped before Buffy.
"I heard what Anya said. I don't want you to lose your job over me."
Buffy frowned, and turned away.
"Guess we don't have to worry about that now huh?"
Willow flinched and opened her mouth, but nothing came out.
Buffy gave a tearful laugh.
"I don't know why I came back here, all I get is pain."
Willow choked on her own tears and reached out to touch her lover.
'Ex-lover?'
"Buffy, I…"
Buffy turned, something in Willow's voice making her need to.
"I don't know how, or when but I…" Willow broke off, afraid of what she was going to say.
Buffy tilted her head, trying to listen through her own pain,
"I love you."
Buffy froze, before blinking a few times.
"Could you repeat that please?"
Willow took a shaky breath, but did so.
"I love you."
"But…before…"
"I was scared. I didn't want…I don't want you to lose your job, o…or go to jail."
Buffy frowned and watched as Willow took a step closer.
"I'm so sorry."
Willow grunted when she hit the island behind her, Buffy pressed firmly to her front.
"If you ever do that again, that's it."
Willow nodded her head, her heart in her eyes.
"I love you too."
Buffy hoisted Willow up so that she was sitting on the island top, and stepped between her legs, running her hands up under the robe Willow had put on instead of the Pjs.
When she reached her core, she thrust two fingers in roughly as she felt Willow pulling at her nipple.
Tearing both their robes off, Buffy climbed up on top of the counter and lay herself between Willow's spread legs.
"I love you." Moving down her body, she placed little nips along Willow's collarbone, before tugging on her hair made her look up.
"No foreplay."
Buffy tilted her head to the side, before an idea hit her.
Keeping her balance, she shifted around until she was kneeling over Willow's face.
"No foreplay." So saying, she bent forward and buried her tongue deep into Willow's body, groaning when Willow copied her move.
It was a new feeling, one which Willow liked.
Each time Buffy groaned, it vibrated against her own clit, and Willow was sure her matching groan did the same to Buffy.
When they came, it wasn't shouted out for Anya and Xander to hear. It was quiet. The only sounds being the slurping of the two as they cleaned up the other.
It was strange. They had only known each other for a short time, but they had fallen in love.
Now they had to figure out a way they could be together…preferably without Buffy losing both her job, and going to jail.
Part 16
Xander smiled when he heard the moans coming from the kitchen.
"Guess they worked it out then."
Anya smiled, but it was strained.
"How are they going to cope Xander? Buffy is your teacher for god's sake."
He paled as the implications hit him.
Buffy eased up and turned around so that she was facing Willow again.
"Love you."
Willow smiled and pulled Buffy down for a kiss, tasting herself on her lover's lips.
"So much for not taking advantage of you over breakfast."
Willow's eyes widened before she burst into laughter.
After a few moments, she calmed down to see Buffy just staring down at her.
"What is it?" Reaching up, Willow cupped Buffy's face, smiling when the blonde leaned into her touch.
Buffy sighed and turned her face, placing a small kiss on Willow's palm.
"We need to talk about what we're going to do."
Willow sighed, knowing that it needed to be done.
"Okay, how about we have breakfast outside and talk there?"
Buffy grinned and leaned down, pressing their lips together again.
"Okay, how's pancakes sound?"
Willow's face lit up.
They had finished breakfast ten minutes ago, and were happy just sitting by the pool, their feet dangling in the water.
"One of us needs to start talking." Buffy sighted, needing to get things sorted, but not wanting to.
Willow echoed the sighed and leaned into the blonde.
"Okay, what do you want to do?"
Buffy wrapped her arm around Willow tighter and nuzzled her neck.
"I know I don't want to give this up."
Willow sighed.
"You don't want to, but we have to right? At least for a little while."
Buffy heard the sadness in her lover's voice, and knew it was present in her own.
"It would only be until Graduation."
Willow sat up and fixed Buffy with wide eyes.
"That's nine months away!"
Buffy turned and cupped Willow face.
"Do you think I'm happy about this? It's gonna kill me not being able to touch you…to kiss you…" So saying, Buffy leaned in and pressed their lips together.
"Once you graduate, you are no longer my student, plus you'll be eighteen, so it wont be illegal any more, and no-one can stop us being together."
Willow snuggled into Buffy.
"So that's it huh? Once I leave here today…we're only teacher and student until May?"
Buffy felt tears in her eyes yet again.
"Well, you could stay all day today and tomorrow, like you said, your parents aren't home."
Willow pulled back, a sad grin on her face.
"I love the way you think."
Falling back, Buffy pulled Willow with her, and just as they were about to engage in a kiss, Xander's voice rang out.
"Ah guys, unless you wanna give a show, could you not do that?" He and Anya sat down beside the two girls, both Buffy and Anya avoiding the others eyes.
Willow and Xander looked at each other and rolled their eyes before Xander grinned and nodded his head towards the pool.
Willow smiled when she realized what he planed, and stood up with a pout from Buffy.
Holding out her hand, she helped Buffy to her feet, a coy smile on her face.
Buffy saw the smile, and thought that Willow was leading them inside.
She shrieked when
